Questions

I believe this page should redirect to macrophage since a histiocyte is apparently a type of macrophage. Stedman's definition: 1. A tissue macrophage; the class includes hepatic Kupffer cells, alveolar macrophages, giant cells of granulomas, osteoclasts, and dermal Langerhans cells. These cells derive from precursors that normally reside in bone marrow but migrate through the bloodstream to egress into tissues for final differentiation.Jdevola (talk) 20:16, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
