Hi, I thought that this article could stay because Professor Ellis should be considered notable: he is a published author (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cambridge-Illustrated-History-Surgery-Harold/dp/0521720338), and extremely highly regarded within his field. Indeed, he is a fellow of the Royal Society of Surgeons (FRCS) and a few of the guidelines in the Notability (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:PROF) are met. Hope this clarifies my position and holds this article in a better standing (although it really needs more work!) Thanks! Seconded. Professor Ellis should be considered notable. His book, Clinical Anatomy Ellis, H. Mahadevan, V. (2010), now is in it's 14th edition can be considered a definitive resource offering medical students, postgraduate trainees and junior doctors a comprehensive resource in their training. Professor Ellis has been published multiple times, been featured in the media, and is renowned in the medical field.

It should be noted that this entry is missing a more detailed timeline of education, work, and press/ media features. Stew-dreamt-roger-betaken (talk) 09:07, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
