More information needed

I think this article, together with the related ones (GM1, GM2, GM3, sphingomyelin, sphingosine, cerebroside) desperately need expansion and re-editing. Since I have limited accessible information on the issue, anyone who have the relevant information please post/drop a note on my talk page, together with the reference, so that I can organize and expand these articles. Thanks. LHcheM (talk) 07:54, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WPMED

added wpmed template since ganglioside is important in Tay-Sachs disease

Its borderline, but I checked links to the article and gathered some more medical links under a new section, Pathobiology. --Una Smith (talk) 04:44, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think biochemistry teachers who teach at medical schools might think it is relevant. I think medical students studying for USMLE part 1 might think it is relevant.
forgot- genetics and molecular cell biology and neuro-microanatomy are also taught at medical schools. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.42.22 (talk) 01:36, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why does "disialoganglioside" redirect here?

Not mentioned or defined in article. Equinox (talk) 01:49, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
