"It occurs with..."

Language used in a technical fields is often different from standard English. "It occurs with any skin injury, infection, or inflammation" appears like it might mean "It can occur with any skin injury, infection, or inflammation" in standard English. Can an expert confirm that there is erythema in absolutely every instance of skin injury, infection, or inflammation? If not, then this should be converted to standard English, unless there's a WP that says otherwise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.203.125.108 (talk) 00:21, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Capsaicin can cause erythema

http://www.jaoa.org/content/107/suppl_1/S8.long

... topical adverse events are quite common with capsaicin cream: 60% of participants had burning, stinging, or erythema at the application site, and these topical reactions were a leading reason among capsaicin recipients for discontinuing the study.15

'Causes'

It seems to me that we could probably make do without the isolated sentences on acute oleander poisoning, jet fuels and vitamin A toxicity, as all being rather specific, and probably covered by the more general statements above (except possibly vitamin A? - but that is sourced to a Textbook of veterinary physiological chemistry, which strikes me as less than ideal...) References removed

I just removed a number of citations that were added by an account I've just blocked for promoting their company. The URLs were all linking back to the company website; they sources appear to be journal articles that were authored by employees of the company. I don't have a problem with an unconnected contributor reinstating any of them if they are reliable, properly support the content - I haven't checked.
