Talk:Duke–NUS Medical School

From WikiProjectMed
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The article sounds more like a school advertisement or more like information in admission page from a school's website. The objective of an encyclopaedic article about a school is to describe the school objectively (such as intake, students composition, notable alumni, research, history, etc.), and not to advertise itself. It looks as if this article was written by the admission department of Duke-NUS. —Preceding signed comment added by 58.185.13.158 (talk) 12:02, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the article sounds much like it is written by Duke-NUS advertisement department. As per Wiki policy on advertisement, I wonder if the article should be deleted or at least for the time being, trimmed to the neutral facts only (i.e., delete the advertisement part.) 203.127.72.14 (talk) 03:58, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I did a major edit, I removed the parts that sound like advertisement and keep those that contain facts. The article became much shorter, though...Tjelong (talk) 04:20, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
