I think that the addition of some examples to the article, with a list of various situations described in a human-readable fashion together with the karyotypes(?) in this notation. I'm not qualified to provide anything serious, but iiuc, this might include how a typical human male is "46,XY," as he has 46 chromosomes, with an X and Y chromosome.
