"The malignant T cells in the body are pushed to the surface of the skin in a biological process used to rid the body of offending material, causing various lesions to appear on the skin." I don't think that this is a good description of the process that is occuring. The T cells are actively homing to the skin. This process in not clearly understood, but it is known that these cells loose some of the surface molecules that are used in trafficking to the lymph nodes. They are not however "pushed" by the body, and the body is not clearly trying to "rid" itself of these cells, more they are abnormally proliferating and are localizing to the skin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.131.11.16 (talk • contribs) 13:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
