Remove hatnote?

This article currently has a hatnote that it's not about the surgical procedure. However, it would be a nice centralized place to have that information (as opposed to repeating it in each one of the articles IDX, D&E, D&C, and vacuum aspiration). I believe it would also tie in well with the article's current topic of childbirth - artificial prostaglandins like misoprostol are used in surgical dilation, as well as to induce labor, and natural prostaglandins are in semen - thus pelvic rest for women at risk for premature labor.

Are there objections to including this information in this article, and removing the associated hatnote? Lyrl Talk C 02:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cervical dilation

I am dilated .5 centimeter. What is the average length of time from this point until labor begins?

Waiting in a maternity ward, there's a nice model on the wall. I suppose it's a copyright issue to photograph it. 75.147.29.137 (talk) 13:11, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mucus Secreation

My question:

If the mucus discharge is clear or sometimes cream and slimy in color, is this also a sign that delivery is closer than expected. This is being passed in the 30th week of pregnancy? (Teze23 (talk) 12:01, 15 September 2008 (UTC)).[reply]
