Need for pictures

Any Centralian editor out there? I invite any Centralian to upload non-copyrighted pictures of your campus so that we can insert it in the article. The CPU article is in need of pictures. Aclarado (talk) 14:52, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, much of the pictures on the CPU's article are not copyrighted, with exception to the CPU Church's photo. I uploaded them with license. Ryn910 (talk)

Rephrasing needed

The lead section and some other sections of this article, (such as the Campus section) needs to be rephrased. Aclarado (talk) 06:11, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article heavily relies on information from the school's website

Upon inspection of the references in the article, it seems that most of the information were lifted from the school's website. I've tagged the article with {{one source}}. Unless the editors find third-party sources, the article is susceptible to bias statements. Third-party sources such as newspapers, magazines, and other publications will be sufficient. Merging

I agree that this article should be merge to Central Philippine University section. It it even rely on one single sources and lack of notability. Bonvallite (talk) 02:56, 6 November 2012 (UTC) List of suggested article that should be merge into one article.[reply]

For several reasons.

  1. Redundant
  2. Lack of notability
  3. Lack of sources (relies only in i site. The school website)
  4. Look like advertisement.

Update: As per the results on the AfDs for the aforementioned articles, it has been decided to merge all of them except that for the High School and Law School (the Medicine article was relisted just recently and is still being discussed). Although I am inclined to make a separate Colleges article to avoid clogging the main one, I decided against it after seeing that there are no substantial notable information on the individual colleges. Most of the information from the articles has been lifted from the school website, and the colleges themselves have not been extensively covered by secondary sources. They do not also satisfy the criteria mentioned in Wikipedia:UNIGUIDE#General_splitting_of_articles. Xeltran (talk) 03:59, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Citation overkill

@Americana22ount: You have removed my [excessive citations] tags thrice already. Do you have a valid reason? Removing the tags will not fix the problem. If you want to help, please read Wikipedia:Citation overkill. More than three inline citations should generally be avoided. You can either (1) trim out the less-reputable sources leaving at most three behind WP:CITETRIM, or (2) merge the citations into a maximum of three footnotes WP:CITEMERGE.

Again, everything you need to know is in Wikipedia:Citation overkill. As for now, I will return the [excessive citations] tags. Do not remove them unless the citation overkill has been fixed (either by you or someone else).

p.s. I have only scrutinized the lead section, but as an effect of your reversion of my edits, I have noticed citation overkill in the rest of the article as well.
