Talk:Brefeldin A

Newest data suggest that Brefeldin A may not alter the transport from the ER to the Golgi Apparatus but the retrograde transport from the Golgi to the ER in plant cells see:"Reevaluation of the Effects of Brefeldin A on Plant Cells using Tabacco bright yellow 2 cells exprssing golgi-targeted green fluorescent protein and copI antisera" Ritzentaler et.al. 2002

Arf is a GTPase involved in the formation of COPI vesicles, which are involved in retrograde transport and Brefeldin A interacts with Arf.

This is inconsistent with the brefeldin causing aggregation of protein in ER as stated in the article. Akita86 (talk) 12:55, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rude advertisment?

We may allow a link to a page that adds or verifies information, but should we suffer such arrogant misuse of Wikipedia as the current BioAustralis add here? they give a link not to an useful monograph of theirs, but to their order form ! Lushi (talk) 19:42, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
