Pictures in the Infobox

The pictures do not demonstrate the differences between ARIA-E and ARIA-H; the image uploaded to Wikipedia is too low quality so the microhaemorrages in the right image are not visible. They are visible on the source image as small block dots which is how microhaemorrhages appear on susceptibility weighted MR sequences (sequences which show susceptibility artefacts, used to show haemosiderin from blood and calcium deposits). They are blurred out of view on the low resolution image on Wikipedia.

Either the picture should be removed or a higher resolution picture uploaded. However it is also unclear whether the picture is uploaded with permission as it appears to have been lifted from a scientific paper which it links to.

I think the current picture should be removed. An alternative set of images is available at https://radiopaedia.org/articles/amyloid-related-imaging-abnormalities-aria - cases uploaded to this site are shared under a modified creative commons license but I am unsure if that is suitable for Wikipedia? This article may be to narrow in scope for Wikipedia. This topic is covered in scientific and medicine specialised sites, such as Radiopaedia for Radiology. It may be too niche for a whole article on Wikipedia.

The specific appearance of one side effect of one type of new Alzheimer's targetting drugs probably does not warrent it's own wikipedia article. DomUK (talk) 21:51, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
