Algerian ArabAlgerian Arab sheep – Routine-ish move of inherently ambiguous term which also refers to a human population and will be interpreted as one by everyone but a sheep breeds expert. (Algeria is a largely Arab country, thus this is the name of their dominant population group!) Per the previous RM of British WhiteBritish White cattle, which also moved: Welsh BlackWelsh Black cattle, Florida WhiteFlorida White rabbit, Anatolian BlackAnatolian Black cattle, Anglo-NubianAnglo-Nubian goat, NicastreseNicastrese goat, Argentine CriolloArgentine Criollo cattle, Indo-BrazilianIndo-Brazilian cattle. I simply forgot to include this one.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  14:33, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Its not even called an Algerian Arab by the Algerians and the name seems relatively obscure. GregKaye 02:51, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong support this article is not about the ethnic group, Algerians who are Arab (instead of say Berber, or Arab-Berber mix) The current name should point to Algerians -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 05:02, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I can see the potential for confusion; I just hope this isn't another round of a bunch of these. Is this the only one? If so, I can support but only for the sake of being consistent with the others that are similarly situated, but I do hope this is over and there won't be more. • I'm not sure there are any left that are inherently ambiguous. The case for moving this is the same as the case for the off-WP horse world calling one of your favorite breeds the American Quarter Horse not the "American Quarter" (a coin). :-)  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  14:58, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
      • LOL, not even the horse people call it a "quarter"! (The origin was actually "quarter-miler") But as long as this is just cleanup, I'm not opposing. Call me neutral. Montanabw(talk) 01:09, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. The current is poorly recognized unless already firmly in the context of sheep (true for the sources but not true for this article), ambiguous, imprecise. The title should describe the topic, and the most important thing about this topic is that it is a sheep, which the current title doesn't imply. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:55, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support The title can lead to confusion with human Algerian Arabs. Dimadick (talk) 21:15, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
