Gene or protein

This article needs to start of clearer as to whether it as article about the gene that contains information about the protein, or an article about the protein that has information about the gene.

Currently the title would suggest the latter, but it is written about the former. I would personally prefer an article about the latter, as details about the protein is probably more relevant to the everyday person (as much as could be).--ZayZayEM (talk) 01:08, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
