ADP Not on fortune 500 (2006)

This is not true. [1]. From article:

  • Fortune ranks ADP #271 on 2006 list of Fortune 500 largest US companies

ADP bad press release?

I found the source of these recognitions. The whole press release on [2] appears to be forged. None of this information could be validated, so I have removed it all. EvanCarroll 04:00, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Adp.gif

Image:Adp.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Copy vio

The lead was taken company's web site, which is a violation of Wikipedia's policies. There were some slight modifications, but not nearly enough. Beyond that, it was promotional and unencyclopedic. I replaced it with a lead that is too generic to be very useful, but this is unfortunatly outside of my area of expertise, so I will have leave it to somebody who understand the technical details of what this company does to rewrite it. I also removed all unsourced entries in the awards section. Seemed very puffy to me, and they should at least be cited. Grayfell (talk) 03:20, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

{{requested move/dated|ADP}}

Automatic Data ProcessingADP – As of July 1, 2014, 'Automatic Data Processing, Inc.' has changed its company name to 'ADP, LLC'. The following page on adp.com will confirm that the current name of the company is ADP, LLC: http://www.adp.com/about-us.aspx. When we compare the current 'About Us' page on adp.com to a snapshot of the page from June 26, 2014 using Internet Archive's WayBack Machine (https://web.archive.org/web/20140626194144/http://www.adp.com/about-us.aspx), one can clearly see the name of the company has changed from 'Automatic Data Processing, Inc.' to 'ADP, LLC'. After some discussion with a moderator on the IRC channel, I have been informed that suffixes (in this case ', LLC')are not usually included in article titles so therefore I believe the name of this article should be moved/changed to 'ADP'. • Strong oppose ADP is a different topic. You haven't shown this corporation is the primary topic. If you want to delete ADP then use WP:MfD. I don't think this qualifies as primary over adenosine diphosphate in any case. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 21:26, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

I agree that this does not qualify as primary page for ADP, however, the company is no longer named 'Automatic Data Processing.' Therefore, I request that this page be moved to ADP, LLC.

Automatic Data ProcessingADP, LLC – Same reason as stated in previous request. The company is no longer known as 'Automatic Data Processing, Inc.' and is now simply 'ADP, LLC'. (Primary Source: http://www.adp.com/about-us.asp compared with snapshot of page from 6/26/14 https://web.archive.org/web/20140626194144/http://www.adp.com/about-us.aspx) Therefore, the article/page should be renamed to 'ADP, LLC'. --Relisted. ADP, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Automatic Data Processing Inc, just as Dealer Services Holdings LLC was (is) up until the spinoff. Automatic Data Processing Inc. is still the name of the larger corporate entity. http://biz.yahoo.com/e/140808/adp10-k.html
