Changed link

I changed the Attention Deficit Disorder link to top of the page, it is probably what most people typing this will be searching for. -FlubecaTalk 20:56, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge "Add" with "ADD" page

There exists a disparity between these disambiguation pages...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADD

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Add

They are effectively the same page. What confuses this is the redirect page...

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Add&redirect=no

I recommend merging the above pages so that the redirect works correctly. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... (talk) 14:39, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Commonname

I've change the link to Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder predominantly inattentive per WP:COMMONNAME; in daily parlance, ADD and ADHD are treated as different, though related, disorders. People looking for info on ADD are looking for specific info on "Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder predominantly inattentive," on which there is a specific article, but will never, ever, be looking for this absudly long name. And, what's more: they also won't have the patience to find out what's the exact link.... Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 06:06, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is simply not true. What refs do you have to support? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 07:58, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The lead on this page as it stands conforms to MOS:DAB. It should not have additional links or explanations. If you want to start a discussion, that should take place at the appropriate article/redirect, ie ADD, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, etc. However, I would guess that this idea has been hashed and rehashed quite a bit, so please do read any previous discussions (including archives) before starting up a new debate. It will save a lot of time for everyone. -- Fyrael (talk) 14:43, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
