In his own memoirs (see referance in the article) he states he took command after Hube, so the below line i have removed as it would appear to be incorrect:
- General of Infantry Kurt von der Chevallerie (April 21, 1944 - May 18, 1944)

Order of battle?
It'd be great to have this large unit's order of battle at different stages in its history. Does anyone has verifiable sources with this info? Also IMHO it needs a bit of reformatting/wikifying.

- Still after sources to improve this article. Any hints? Thanks, DPdH (talk) 07:28, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be moved?
Are there other "1st Panzer Armies" besides the German one? If not, should not this be moved to simply "1st Panzer Army"? TaintedMustard (talk) 06:33, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- The English military term Panzer, a German loanword, is about exclusively used in relation to German stuff. Therefore this is the only 1st Panzer Army; e.g. the Soviet Union instead having the 1st Tank Army. ...GELongstreet (talk) 23:13, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
