A so-called fibrohistiocytic tumor is a type of soft tissue tumor, that includes tenosynovial giant cell tumor, deep benign fibrous histiocytoma, plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor, and giant cell tumor of soft tissue.[1][2] They are generally unrelated.[3]

They are "so-called" because they were initially thought to be fibrohistiocystic origin, but later found not to be.[3]
