Hove (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦoːvə] ⓘ) is a municipality (gemeente) located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Hove proper. In 2021, Hove had a total population of 8,287. The total area is 5.99 km2.[2]
Situated roughly 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from Antwerp, the provincial capital, Hove is renowned for its exclusivity, and it is often cited as one of Belgium's most affluent areas. Residents are willing to invest significantly to reside here, drawn by its reputation as one of the nation's safest havens. Consequently, Hove clinched the 4th spot on the list of Belgian municipalities ranked by average annual income per capita in 2021.[3]
