The Weekend is an American weekend morning news talk show, which airs weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the cable news channel MSNBC. It features former co-hosts former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele, former spokesperson for Kamala Harris Symone Sanders-Townsend and Alicia Menendez.

History

On November 30, 2023, MSNBC announced a overhaul of its weekend lineup, introducing a new morning show titled The Weekend, featuring Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders-Townsend and Michael Steele beginning on January 13, 2024, taking over Katie Phang's 8 a.m. slot and Jonathan Capehart's 9 a.m. slot, with their shows moving to Saturdays at 12 p.m. and weekends at 6 p.m., respectively.[1]
