Background and promotion

After Kcee's breakup with former music partner Presh, Kcee started a solo career.[2] He started to release singles such as "Okpekete" and "Carnival", and he kept releasing songs until he finally blew up with his track "Limpopo" released in March of 2013. Once he released "Limpopo" people started to give him the alias "Limpopo king" and "Okpekete master". Then he started releasing more songs such as "Pull Over" and "Okoso" to prove his dominance in the music industry. Since he released all of these singles, he had to get ready to release his debut solo album. On 15 October 2013, Kcee released a promotional ad for the album.
