James Is Going To Die Soon is the debut studio album by English anti-folk band Crywank, released on September 1, 2010.[1] It is self-released but has been reissued by Suburban Miasma Records in 2011 and by Mount Seldom Records in 2018. The album has received mixed reviews.[2]

Release and Promotion
James Is Going To Die Soon was released officially on Bandcamp on 1 September 1, 2010 for MP3 for free.[4] The album had limited run of cassette tapes in 2011 with 13 different men on the covers of the cases with 4 copies of each, reissued by Suburban Miasma Records.[5] In 2018, there had been another reissue of cassettes and CD's by Mount Seldom Records.[6]
Jay in an interview stated: “James is going to die soon” was inspired by a painful break up, “I wrote these songs out of frustration and sadness and they ended up making me feel a lot better, I hope they have a similar effect on you”.[7]
The album has an average rating of 3.06/5 on RateYourMusic.[8]
