Byte is an American direct-to-consumer dental alignment company based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2017 by Scott Cohen and Blake Johnson..[1]

In 2020, Byte converted their 150 Juell3D printers to produce masks, face shields, and ventilator part to support frontline healthcare providers in the fight against COVID-19[2][3][4]

Acquisition

In January 2021, Dentsply Sirona, a manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, acquired Byte in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.04 billion.[5][6][7]
