Differences with East Frisians category

How does this category differ from Category:East Frisians? Perhaps one is a subcategory of the other, but they're not linked. The Danish project flag on the East Frisians category talk page seems to suggest that is a wider category, but right now in wikipedia East Frisians are defined as the Frisians living in current day Germany. As of January 2014, the article East Frisians wrote (and still writes) that "in the narrower sense the East Frisians are the eastern branch of the Frisians". There is no statement there that the East Frisians are the only Frisians in Germany; the other linguistic groups in Germany being North Frisians and Saterland Frisians.
