We have a List of civilian nuclear accidents and now a category of articles relating to Civilian nuclear power accidents. The category needs to be changed to something like "Civilain nuclear power" to encompass all civilian nuclear power articles. Also, the category needs to develop some criteria for inclusion. Right now it has an entry for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. That plant had a significant problem that could have caused an accident but no accident actually occurred, so why is it in a category of "civilain nuclear power accidents"? On further examination, this category seems to be particularly useless. Most of these articles would be more appropriate in other categories or even in the Nuclear Power category itself. I propose deleting this category and placing the entries into other categories. Nailedtooth 17:55, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 December 24, I created a separate category for plants that had a accident, and it was deleted. There has recently been a purging of the nuclear-related categories, so it may be appropriate to nominate this one for deletion for the reasons mentioned above. -Theanphibian (talkcontribs) 18:13, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
