Ziddi Mama[a] is a 2012 Bangladeshi action comedy film directed by Shahadat Hossain Liton and produced and distributed by Chitrali Kothachitro. The story of the film revolves around Agun (played by Shakib Khan) taking revenge, where terrorists kill his niece and subsequently take revenge, which features an ensemble cast including Apu Biswas, Rumana Khan, Misha Sawdagor, Sadek Bachchu, Kabila, Siraj Haider and Rehana Jolly.[2][3][4][5]
The film is an unofficial remake of the 2005 Telugu-language film Jai Chiranjeeva starring Chiranjeevi. Although the film started shooting with the title Vulbo Naa Tomake, but was later changed to Ziddi Mama to suit the story.[6]

Production
The script of the film revolves around uncle-niece. Its filming ended under the tentative title Vulbo Naa Tomake, but the title of the film was later changed to Ziddi Mama to suit the story. When the niece of a man named Agun is killed by arms dealers, he becomes desperate for revenge. And that is why its name has been changed to Ziddi Mama.[6] In September 2012, the film received clearance from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board.[6]

Release
The film was released in cinemas on October 27, 2012, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. It did not do the expected business at the box office.[8]
