Yoruba Ronu (which in English means "Yoruba Think") is an ideology promoting the preservation of the Yoruba civilization and heritage.[1] It started as a rallying cry in the song of Herbert Ogunde of the same title.[2] This philosophy places importance of thinking deeply and contemplating the Yoruba reality and future.[3] Yoruba Ronu ideology today is also espoused in some Yoruba organizations like Think Yoruba First (TYF). The Yoruba Ronu are considered to be part of a conservative block of Yorubas.[4]
