The World Championship of Legends is a Twenty20 cricket tournament which features retired international cricketers from various nations that was approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board.[1][2]
Background
The series has featured sides from Australia, England, India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies. The tournament will feature a host of cricket legends from these six nations. From Pakistan - Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Misbah-ul-Haq are some of the big names who will play in the tournament.[3]
Apart from these stalwarts, other international stars like Brett Lee, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Ben Cutting, Younis Khan, Jacques Kallis, JP Duminy, Dale Steyn, Chris Gayle, Daren Sammy, Dwayne Smith, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara and Samit Patel will also feature in the tournament. [3]
