William Matthew (born 26 December 1993 in Stirling, Perth, Australia) is an Australian equestrian athlete.[1] He competed in several international dressage competitions and is assistant rider to Olympic and World Champion Isabell Werth in Germany. In July 2024, Matthew was selected by the Australian Equestrian Federation to represent the Australian team at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.[2]
In 2022 he received the prestigious German Goldenes Reitabzeichen, which is a valuation for his outstanding results at competitions in Germany.[3]
