Regarding "Crucially, the authors show that the overall percentage of mainstream news media references has decreased, while references to academic publications increased over that time", that's not surprising given that WP:MEDRS essentially bans mainstream news media from being used for references in medical articles.-- John Broughton (♫♫) 00:56, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
