Proposing delisting of rabies as Good article

I was surprised to find rabies was listed as a Good article. In its present state, I believe it fails to meet the criteria, and would therefore propose delisting. Please add your comments to the appropriate section of the rabies talk page. Espresso Addict (talk) 15:53, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Coordinators' working group

Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.

All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 06:56, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

I happen to have this page on my watchlist because I removed a proposed deletion tag from it last year. I've noticed that the standard of the article has declined from bad to atrocious since then, and it now seems to me, as a non-expert, to consist nearly all of spam for two organisations and one person who has written on the subject. Could someone in this project please try to write something neutral on the subject? I'm beginning to regret rescuing it from deletion. Phil Bridger (talk) 21:45, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Any ideas what to do with this article? The text is confusing and I've started threads about it at Reference desk/Science and WT:MEDICINE (interested people may want to read those). The term has several hits on Google, Google Books, and Google Scholar. As far as I can tell, an ornithosis agent is any biological agent which causes a disease in birds, but I could be wrong. I don't mean to split the discussion, so could people please reply at Talk:Ornithosis agent? --Pixelface (talk) 03:37, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

BIODYL

There is a breaking story in the international media re the suspicious deaths of 24 world-class sport horses: 21 polo ponies in Florida and 3 endurance race horses in Uruguay. Contamination of a French-made injectable vitamin, BIODYL, is suspected. I created BIODYL as a stub, but as much of the relevant information about this is not in English, I would appreciate some help expanding it. --Una Smith (talk) 18:12, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Category page spam

Hi havent been around here for a very long time - recently have been placing the project template on category pages and cannot believe the number of obvious spam items on category pages - will probably clean them up - so if anyone feels grieved about removal of material from category pages - it is not WPMOS to have email addresses of someone/institution who want to promote their college or institution on a category page! cheers SatuSuro 02:23, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Also - if one puts in the project plain name as a template into a category talk page - the internal machinations of template working these days makes the category/NA distinction - rather than the earlier NA/NA distinction - will change this over time to be consistent in the project - cheers SatuSuro 02:29, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
