Restore
I've restored Template:bbblock, while this TFD discussion was uncontested, the only editor was the nominator. I use this template all the time, it only appears less-used because it is always subst'd. I've left a note for the closing admin, feeling that with this argument this discussion would have been at least a no-consensus default keep. I am not intending to wheel war over this, and will redelete and list on DRV if requested by the closing admin. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 12:32, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- The nomination was not for being unused but for being duplicated with {{uw-vblock}}. I implicitly agreed by adding no further note, as I see no use for a duplicate template. I guess _creating_ a redirect with the same name is acceptable, as you, and possibly others, may still use it, while avoiding the problem of having different contents for the same purpose (that's why I think better to recreate than simply redirect, so to avoid to revert to any previous version). - A redirect would fix the "lack of the old name" problem, but not the issue of some admins just wanting this (or other) versions. The block policy does not REQUIRE the use of a particular style of template.
