I can see already that this is going to be a thorny one to figure out, so I'm going to attempt to break down the votes by color here. -- BD2412 ^talk 03:08, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

Maybe not 15... combination noms would work fine for the four combination colors (Olive-yellow, Pink-cerise, etc.), and for the two mineral colors (Feldspar (color) and Sphaerocobaltite (color)). -- BD2412 ^talk 16:29, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

Better Solution?

I thought I presented a good solution to satisfy everyone which I thought was highly suggested by wikipedia:voting. There is an article list of colors which consolidates each of these articles into a single line. The people voting deletion will be happy to get rid of the articles and the people voting keep will be happy because the most important information is still there.Vicarious 21:03, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

• I think if the people voting keep had wanted the information merged somewhere, they would have voted to merge (as some people did). Your solution has merit, but some colors (like rose, perhaps) have social or historical significance that would best be served by a separate article. -- BD2412 ^talk 21:46, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
