Behaviour on this page: Arbitration case pages exist to assist the Arbitration Committee in arriving at a fair, well-informed decision. You are required to act with appropriate decorum during this case. While grievances must often be aired during a case, you are expected to air them without being rude or hostile, and to respond calmly to allegations against you. Accusations of misbehaviour posted in this case must be proven with clear evidence (and otherwise not made at all). Editors who conduct themselves inappropriately during a case may be sanctioned by an arbitrator, clerk, or functionary, without further warning, by being banned from further participation in the case, or being blocked altogether. Personal attacks against other users, including arbitrators or the clerks, will be met with sanctions. Behavior during a case may also be considered by the committee in arriving at a final decision.

Curly Turkey

Request to add Curly Turkey as a party not granted. GorillaWarfare (talk) 21:16, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The following discussion has been closed. Please do not modify it.

Curly Turkey has involved himself in the sections on AN/I [1] the section on Denis Brown's talk page.[2] and has started a new section on AN/I dealing with CurtisNaito at History of Japan dealing with a GA nomination.[3] Its possible that his name will pop up. I am not sure if he should be added to the case. But I believe in all fairness he should be notified of the case in case his name does come up and evidence is presented that includes him. I leave it up to the arbs if he should be added. AlbinoFerret 12:34, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notified of this section here[4]. AlbinoFerret 12:37, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Curly Turkey has never interacted with Catflap and doesn't edit in the disputed areas; his dispute with CurtisNaito would have happened if Hijiri were never involved. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 22:17, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thats not possible, because Hijiri88 started the GAR of History of Japan. This talk page section is also interesting and shows your involvement.[5] as well as this AN/I section where you were involved.[6]AlbinoFerret 23:21, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The committee just added Sturmgewehr88, CurtisNaito and TH1980 as involved parties in this case.
If you feel strongly about this matter, I suggest sending an email message to the arbcom-l email list. There are four open arbitration cases right now, plus a case request, motions and amendment requests to consider plus the standard unban requests they get every day. It's more likely that they would see an email message than happen to look at a case talk page right now. Liz Read! Talk! 23:34, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
(ce) The mind-numbing length of the discussions that preceded the GAR put the lie to your assertion that it's "impossible"---rather, the reverse would be "improbable". That raises the question of why you would so misrepresent a record you are well familiar with, in the context of an ArbCom case, of all places. Arbs beware: don't take anything AlbinoFerret has to say at face value---don't let him game you. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 23:48, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If Curly Turkey becomes "involved" so should AlbinoFerret given his extensive involvement at every single ANI thread regarding the other involved users. ミーラー強斗武 (StG88ぬ会話) 06:50, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That'd be an entirely different case. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 06:56, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Liz I did as you instructed few days ago, but I havent gotten a response. I understand that the arbs have a very political request to deal with along with all the other cases they have. I hope hear from them soon one way or the other. AlbinoFerret 15:05, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure your request has been received and is being considered. If you don't receive a response or a reply on this talk page within a week, I'd follow it up with another message. Liz Read! Talk! 15:31, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@AlbinoFerret: Apologies for the delay on this one. I am not inclined to add User:Curly Turkey as a party. From what I can see, many of the conflicts Curly Turkey has had in this topic area are with CurtisNaito, who I did ask to have added as a party. However, the focus of this case remains on Catflap08 and Hijiri88, not on the additional parties. GorillaWarfare (talk) 01:33, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for considering it GorillaWarfare. My main concern was Curly Turkeys activity in the Hijiri88 sections on AN/I and the fact that he, Hijiri88, and Sturmgewehr88 have been collaborating on those sections and this case on their talk pages. AlbinoFerret 04:04, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"Collaborating" in the sense that we've been working together to defend ourselves against you? I'd much rather have been developing content (it's what I do). Thanks you for not taking the bait, GorillaWarfare. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 04:24, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Examples of this are in my evidence [7][8]. I leave it to others to gauge the involvement and if all he does is develop content. As for defending against me? Well thats strange as all I have done is comment on noticeboard sections. AlbinoFerret 04:49, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Like I've said before, your dishonest, disruptive behaviour's going to come back to bite you. Keep it up. Curly Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 06:07, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Possible request for extension of evidence phase

Catflap08 has sent me an e-mail, which I will forward to the committee at request, indicating that he is experiencing significant health problems. This may or may not at this point interfere with his ability to present evidence in the allotted time. It also raises some difficulties for me as an individual, because I was intending to use my own evidence section to fill in any material which was missing from his.

I have contacted him, again, in e-mails I am willing to forward at request, and indicated that if I don't receive a response from him or see him present evidence by Wednesday or Thursday, that I will proceed without him. However, if he does indicate to me that he does later wish to present evidence when his current health condition becomes better, it may be that he would need an extension of the evidence phase to do so.

I clearly don't know at this point whether he will or will not present evidence within the allotted period, but thought it reasonable to advise the arbs of the situation anyway, if it does become a problem. John Carter (talk) 17:00, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

John, he has also written me, which I forwarded to the clerks list, a message that places in doubt whether he wants to participate in this case. I reminded him of the evidence deadline, let him I was informing the clerks of his comments and have not heard back. Any request for an extension of time would have to be posted in advance, meaning, not on the day that the Evidence phase closes. Liz Read! Talk! 20:12, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Evidence phase closing tomorrow

This is just a notice to remind all parties and interested editors that the Evidence phase of this arbitration case will be closing at the end of the day (UTC time) tomorrow, November 4th. Please post any remaining contributions you might have prepared before then. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 15:23, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
