Wiki Project Med supports the Cochrane Collaboration in various ways.
Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization consisting of a group of over 28,000 volunteers in more than 100 countries. The collaboration was formed to organize medical scholarship in a systematic way in the interests of evidence-based research. The group conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which is then published by Wiley-Blackwell in Cochrane Library.

Cochrane grants free access to the Cochrane Library to Wikipedians who contribute to health content.
Cochrane Colloquium
The Cochrane Colloquium is the international conference for contributors to and users of Cochrane Collaboration projects. At these conferences there is opportunity for Wikipedia presentations.
