Took a look per your request. I did a fair amount of cleaning up. There are still some issues with the article; some relatively obscure technical terms could probably still stand to be explained (example: lowport vs. highport), the entire "Trivia" section is organized pretty randomly and the reliability problem section (I renamed it) could still use a rewrite. Also, there is a lot of work to be done in terms of adding more inline citations via footnotes. If you take a look at any featured article, you will see how many footnotes are generally used (a lot!). You have done a nice job so far so keep working on it! -Big Smooth 18:40, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

I think that your article is close to GA for a topic like this. The main problem I see it that it is one long section. I am sure that if it is broken up a bit, it will make it through to being a GA. Zoli Elo 04:41, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Oppama
Hi. You created an article at Oppama, which I just redirected to Yokosuka, Kanagawa. While the Nissan plant is called the Oppama Plant, Oppama itself is just a subdivision of Yokosuka. The information you wrote is a good summary of the plant, and its importance to the area, so I copied it directly to the appropriate section of the Yokosuka article. For what its worth, the Japanese wikipedia does not have an article on Oppama, and mentions the plant (albeit briefly) in the Yokosuka page. (ja:横須賀市#産業 if you can read Japanese). If you think that this was out of line, please bring it up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Japan where there are many more eyes (and more opininions, I'm sure). Neier 11:44, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Wikiproject Automobiles Notification
Hi Zoli Elo, you were on the list of members at WikiProject Automobiles and we are introducing a new way of listing members, as the old list was becoming too long. Our new method involves having all of our members in a category.
To add yourself to the category just add the userbox to your user page by putting {{Wiki Auto Project}} where you want the userbox. Alternatively if you don't like the userbox you can add [[Category:WikiProject Automobiles members|Zoli Elo]] to your userpage.

Infiniti G20
Me and several users have come together to concensus that the key fob numbers and paint codes should not be included in the G20 article. While those may be appropriate for an owenrs manual perhaps or a forum about G20's it is not really appropriate for wikipedia. We'd like your input
Hi Zoli.
I've recently visited G20.net and read the discussion going on there about how the Infiniti G20 article should look. It seems that quite a few members there have been using the Wikipedia article (paint codes and all) as a resource. I would hate to think that these people are being denied information that they need for tuning and maintaining their own cars.
That's why I'm in a dilemma here. I want these G20 owners to have access to that information, but I still feel it is far too "niche market" for an encyclopedia geared primarily to a general audience. (I drive a Mitsubishi Galant and own a dealer's manual with all of the 1999 Galant paint codes and technical stats, but I haven't posted that information on this site because I personally don't think Wikipedia is the place for it.)
I have posted on Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles today to discuss my concerns, and since you're so involved with the Infiniti G20 article, I really want your input, and I want to reach a logical conclusion that works well for all parties involved. Feel free to give the users at G20.net the link to the Wikiproject so they can participate, in a civil manner, in discussion.
My most recent idea to settle the matter has been this: Could it be possible to create a page with paint codes, tuning information and other technical data at G20.net? You could then link to the page directly from the Wikipedia article, and under "External Links," you could specify "G20 paint codes and tuning data." This is just one idea, and I'd like to know if it sounds feasible to you.
I personally have decided not to make any more changes to the Infiniti G20 article until everyone can reach a decision about how it should look. I really don't want to remove all of your hard work without finding a suitable place for it first. Jagvar 20:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I really want to remain even on the topic as I am clearly biased about the pant codes (which are not found anywhere including print material but on the wiki). I have no control over that happens over on G20.net... I understand that you are trying to help the wikipedia as a whole but to me it seems as if valuable information is being lost. Pant codes, common failure points, number produced are often more than trivia to many owners and car historians. My ideal would be that every car entry on wikipedia that has a sub culture in which modifications were common place would have a tuning section. There are a great many new owner's of tunable cars that are without a venue for base knowledge. Many forums are not apply formated for new users curious about what in general can be done to their car as veterans of such sites are often of the mindset that a basic topic should not be covered continuously. The G20 wikipedia entry I am certain has adding in the base knowledge of new owners and old owners alike. While it might have seem over detailed if such a condition is possible, it in fact really was basic. Having written much of the tunning sections I strictly went with common modifications and kept technical jargon out.
