Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Spam

It has become clear that your only purpose here on Wikipedia is to promote certain commercial web sites. If you don't stop this immediately, you will be blocked from further editing. Owen× 18:36, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i have never edited before, clearly i made some mistakes/inappropriate links, however i believe not everything was inapporpriate or commercially related in fact the fantasy futures exchamge is the only non-broker owned place to ppaertrade on the internet---there are no ads, no personal info is taken----i really don't understand ---this seems like valid useful info ???????????
It doesn't seem like you're editing articles looking for "useful info" to add, but rather scanning articles looking for places to stick links to sites you are trying to promote. Please review Wikipedia:External links and Wikipedia:Spam before you continue. Thank you. Owen× 22:17, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i thought all my links were appropriate though i can see how someone would disagree---------the thing is ptrades fantasy futures excahnge (as of now anyway) is a non commercial endeavor with no revenue . so i think technically i'm right though i'm not sure------- its relevant , valid, useful, educational, free and helpful to those looking for related info---so not sure what i should do??

Again, this is an encyclopedia, not a collection of links--regardless of how "useful" those links may be. Does the tax shelter online site help explain anything in the Tax article? Does your Fantasy Futures Exchange site illustrate anything mentioned in the Commodity markets article? Please don't feign innocence; your edits so far indicate that you're here to advertise, not to write an encyclopedia. Owen× 23:43, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

well i thought it did: i thought the tax shelter hotline site explains specifically about the most aggressive legal tax shelter legally allowed and the Fantasy Futures Exchange explains how commodity/futures trading works and enables those itnerested to try for free--------i guess the problem is that i was the one who contributed the info/link and that ti am involved with the sites linked to if thats the case i understand the sites are educational, non-advertised suppported, especially the fantasy futures exchange is highly educational and interactive way----------i'm not feigning inocence i am trying to learn about something----if i thought i was doing something wrong i wouldn't have spent half the day working on it --only to see it 100% wiped off------i guess i am wondering how those links didnt contribute to the articles with meaningful information that wasnt covered??? they do -i'm not feigning innocence---i dont get it, it feels pretty heavy handed to me---so be it

or to be wiped off a list of exchanges??? it's an exchange, a mock exchange, but an exchange none-the-less, it has its own trading platform, order execution, tracking, etc-----now i'm afraid to contribute anything on these matters when i feel i have some valuable and useful to contribute, but don't want to labeled as spam or banned
