Amaze 4G

I did not reference T-Mobile as a source regarding whether or not the Amaze 4G has Gorilla Glass. I simply provided my correspondence with HTC on the T-Mobile forums. I had direct correspondence with HTC who indicated they did not use Gorilla Glass but would not reveal what glass they do use. Corning does not list the Amaze 4G and referred me to HTC. T-Mobile doesn't have a clue.

I spent a significant amount of time looking into the issue because I liked the device, other than its lack of Gorilla Glass.

I would sincerely appreciate it if you could reveal the sources you mention who say the Amaze 4G has Gorilla Glass as I would still be interested in buying the Amaze 4G if anyone can prove unequivocally that the Amaze 4G does indeed have a Gorilla Glass screen.

I have found several sources citing that the HTC Amaze does have gorilla glass overlaid, I'm a little skeptical about the enquiry you had with t-mobile and I'm speculating that they may not be familiar with the terminology hence were afraid to provide a definite answer. Cornings on the other hand may not be regularly updating their websites, I reckon its better referencing sources that actually include the pertinent information or lack of rather than sources that don't mention anything at all. I could just be a careless mistake on Corning's end.

Amaze 4G

I did want to reiterate that I never had a correspondence with, nor did I make an inquiry of T-Mobile regarding the glass used on the Amaze 4G. My correspondence was directly with the manufacturer HTC. I merely posted my correspondence with HTC on T-Mobile's support forum. HTC says they're using a cheaper substitute

In our commitment to quality, HTC pioneered the use of shatterproof glass in Smartphones. At the time, Corning was the only manufacturer and we used their product, Gorilla Glass. Since [then] many manufactures have developed and advanced shatterproof glass technology, allowing HTC to use the highest quality cutting edge shatterproof glass in our Smartphones while keeping costs low for our customers.

HTC made the same statement in response to inquiries made by other people on other forums, such as the xda-developer's forum. There are other other "fortified glass" products either on the market or in testing; Dragontrail is an example.

Again, if you can find out directly from HTC exactly what glass they do use it would be sincerely appreciated. I would be more than happy to buy this phone if I knew what glass it is so I can research it; it might be better than GG! But at these prices, buyers deserve to know exactly what they are buying.

"Excessive" use of images

I have recently added in, undoubtedly a lot of images which highlight the historic aspect of stations. I do not believe this is excessive at all, in that some station pages did not have any images at all (or the historic aspect) prior to today such as Lithgow Station. I understand that some station pages do not have enough prose, however your claim in my excessiveness of pictures cannot be substantiated given that there is not enough textual sources out there. You may want to know that I have contributed a slight amount of prose to the Waratah train page linking it with sources concerning the DVA and IDI, CCTV systems and signage information. You may also want to know what I am doing is not anything new. Looking at pages such as http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%96%B6%E5%9B%A305%E7%B3%BB%E9%9B%BB%E8%BB%8A shows the amount of indepth and breadth of information contained highlighting minute details such as exterior series differences. Therefore your claim of "not every aspect and detail deserves to be included photographically in the article" cannot be justified. Of course our trains are not as complex as Japanese ones, I believe there is a potential for some of the trains to contain more information. I believe that the amount of pictures may outbalance some station pages with minimum information, however are the only available primary evidence. Your edits indisputably were done with good intention but with such an undeveloped and short prose the gallery images may, in an aesthetic aspect suit the talk page more than the article itself for the time being. With somewhat low level of activity on the article and talk pages, your images if posted on the talk page will not be archived anytime soon. I would imagine that you and I would agree that it's quite unfortunate that there is not enough reliable, non-forum sources to soundly develop the article but 3 rows of images in the gallery is not particularly needed in my opinion but of course this is opened for debate. Fear not, images are not deleted from Commons or Wikipedia if they are not used and many users do go on Commons and search for images given that it is correctly labelled and catergorised. Galaxy S II post

You were wrong to revert my post on the Samsung Galaxy S II. The information is now wrong.

"JK Shin, the head of "Samsung Mobile Communications", announced in May 2011 that a Samsung Galaxy S III (Galaxy S3) is planned for release on 3 May 2012."

That did not happen. The 3 May release date is a recent development. I also believe it is greatly in the interest of Wikipedia readers to know that the specs have been revealed.

The information was correct when I edited it.

..And this is why we use just reputable sources, the phone will still be released on May 3 2012 according to Cnet and primary Samsung sources, also some mistakes were made by previous editors and I have fixed that. In addition to the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S 3, S-Cloud was rumour to also be released during that event. By the way, it's April 21 2012 in Australia so I have no idea what you're trying to convey by saying, "it did not happen", further clarification may be needed. Also whether they're are your favourite blogs or not is irrelevant, they are unreliable compared to other sources and should not be used to replace reliable sources, if the content is incorrect, fix that but sources should in this situation should be kept where it is unless you can specify a reason for them to be removed. In addition to that, posting dubious speculations about a device prior to its official release requires more than one sources as per Wikipedia policy and since you added that content, the burden is with YOU not me.
