Islamic Movement/Joint List

Please discuss this on the article's talk page rather than edit war over it. A source has been provided stating that it's part of the list (and there are many more - see e.g. Al Jazeera, Haaretz etc). Thanks, Number 57 20:38, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The articles may confuse the Islamic Movment with the united arab list or just be wrong. you can check offical websites, or the Article + other languages + all the other sources. From the Islamic Movement in Israel article: "In 1996, the movement decided to run for the Knesset, following three previous rejections of the idea. The decision cemented the divisions between the northern and southern branches of the movement, the former, led by Raed Salah, arguing that elections should be boycotted. The southern branch, led by Sheikh Ibrahim Sarsur, ran for elections together with the Arab Democratic Party, and since 2000 it runs independently under the name United Arab List." Firstly, you shouldn't be relying on Wikipedia articles to prove your point. Secondly, I wrote the Joint List article, hence why it includes the sentence "The Joint List was formed in the build-up to the 2015 elections as an alliance of Balad, Hadash, the southern branch of the Islamic Movement, Ta'al and the United Arab List." Im not relaying on it. Im just telling you to look at the sources there. I don't know how to argue with a wrong claim. the united arab list is kind of the southern branch of the islamic movment. But the islamic movment isn't on the list. From the joint list Facebook page: "القائمة المشتركة (الجبهة، الإسلامية، التجمع، التغيير) - الصفحة الرسمية |

הרשימה המשותפת (חד"ש, רע"מ, בל"ד, תע"ל) - הדף הרשמי" - trans: The joint list (Hadash, United Arab list, Balad, Ta'al). look at the list of canidates: Ayman Odeh (Hadash) Masud Gnaim (Ra'am) Jamal Zahalka (Balad) Ahmed Tibi (Ta'al) Aida Touma-Sliman (Hadash) Abd al-Hakim Hajj Yahya (Ra'am) Haneen Zoabi (Balad) Dov Henin (Hadash) Taleb Abu Arar (Ra'am) Yosef Jabareen (Hadash) Basel Ghattas (Balad) Osama Sa'adi (Ta'al) Abdullah Abu Maaruf (Hadash) Juma Azbarga (Balad)

No Islamic Movment. Yoav Nachtailer (talk) 14:32, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
