Your RfA

Hi Wikifan. I have taken the liberty of closing your Request for Adminship as there was no chance of it succeeding and I felt that User:Giants27 had provided you with plenty of useful advice. Although there are no strict minimum requirements for adminship, a candidate without at least three months of regular editing and two or three thousand edits stands very little chance of success. For now I would suggest that you explore Wikipedia, start editing and generally get a feel for how it runs. Please leave me a message if you have any questions or require any help. Best wishes, Rje (talk) 12:34, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding A Sidebar

{{Helpme}}

How do you ad a sidebar where you can place what languages you speak and your accomplishments??? WikiFanD 23:42, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi Wikifan798. Please see, Wikipedia:Userboxes. Scroll down to where the various categories of userboxes are linked. Many types of userboxes are available. For example, the language section of that page will take you to Wikipedia:Babel, where you can find userboxes that show what languages you speak. Instructions on how to format the placement on your user page are also provided at the main page I linked. See, for example, the section called Grouping userboxes. File source problem with File:Mottle Marbles.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Mottle Marbles.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:54, 13 November 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 16:54, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Mottle Marbles.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Mottle Marbles.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Salavat (talk) 16:54, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Imput has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, unreferenced misspelling or mis-pronunciation. Relation to verb impute appears to be OR as I cannot find any RS to support the connection.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  7  23:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've BOLD-ly redirected the page to "input". If you believe a word is commonly misspelled, instead of starting an article telling us about it, please redirect it with #REDIRECT [[Article it should reidrect to]] —Duncan (that's me!)What I Do / What I Say 00:34, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for telling me this...

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ray Schnittker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Zachlipton (talk) 01:39, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
