Hi, Your request for deletion of Socks in sandals was badly malformed, you might want to follow the procidure in WP:AFDHOWTO as it is likely to be ignored in it's current form. CombatWombat42 (talk) 15:22, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Frankly speaking I tried that page (AFDHOWTO) but I do not understand it much. There is just to much information. When I clicked "add a new entry" the field contained a lot of code so I was not sure where to start. I even do not how to properly reply to your message - I used "edit source" - is it OK? Everything seems to be rather complicated here.

So, first add {{subst:afd1}} to Socks in sandals by editing the source. In the "edit summary" box put "Afd: Nominated for deletion; see [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Socks in sandals]]" CombatWombat42 (talk) 16:23, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. It is really much appreciated. But meanwhile somebody was really keen to delete my post. So instead of just editing it I would have to write it from a scratch (and I am not in the mood to do it right now). What kind of people are they?

Socks in sandals

We regards this topic as highly biased. We tried to add our point of view but it was repeatedly deleted. So we think that this topic violates some basic principles of Wikipedia. ' In fact, this topic is wrongly formulated. Wearing socks in sandals is quite normal thing. So there is no reason there is a special topic about it. On the other hand "anti-sock-in-sandals" meme si something that requires an attention. And it is not a matter of fashion. It is a matter of irrational intolerance. So it is potentionally dangerous thing.

As another note, it is considerd a good idea to type ~~~~ at the end of your posts on talk pages (like this one) to "sign" them so people can determine who wrote those words. If you are interested you can read WP:SIGNATURE for more information. CombatWombat42 (talk) 16:58, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you again! Varenucha (talk) 17:09, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like you tried to add {{subst:afd1}} to the "Articles for Deletion log", not to the page Socks in sandals itself, I probably didn't explain that very well. User:Michaelzeng7 Appears to have done all of the work for you. First he went to Socks in sandals and added {{subst:afd1}} as you can see from this page, then he went to the deletion discussion page and added {{subst:afd2 | pg=PageName | cat=Category | text=Why the page should be deleted}} replacing "Why the page should be deleted" with the reason you typed. Finally he wend to the [Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2013_August_15 Articles for Deletion log] and added {{subst:afd3 | pg=NominationName}} replacing "NominationName" with "Socks in sandals" CombatWombat42 (talk) 18:17, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I think I am starting to understand little bit :) Thanks to you! Varenucha (talk) 18:29, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to deletion

Greetings, Varenucha, and welcome to Wikipedia's deletion process! Thank you for your contributions. As a newcomer, it may be helpful for you to read Wikipedia's deletion policy, and the pages describing the articles for deletion process, proposed deletion, and speedy deletion. Remember that deletion debates are not votes, and reasons matter, especially reasons relating to the central content policies of verifiability, neutral point of view, no original research, and what Wikipedia is not, and to the consensual community guidelines for biographies, corporations, music, and fiction. Also remember that deletion is not always the answer to a bad article. Feel free to drop me a line at my talk page if you have any questions. Again, welcome! Michaelzeng7 (talk) 18:15, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

thank you for your help. I was rather confused with the process :) Varenucha (talk) 18:30, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And another thing...

Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

Hello, Varenucha, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Forced adoption in Norway (January 27)

@Primefac:

I give up. I hoped for cooperation with other users as I thought that this is the original concept of Wikipedia. Since this is an unpaid and uncredited work and I have other things to do, I am not interested on working on this article any more. I believe that this matter is quite serious and definitely deserve a wikipedia article. And that this attitude that other people do not have a chance to cooperate on an article, because the article is not published, is wrong. But as I said: this is my last activity regarding this matter. If somebody would want this content for creating a better article, he/she has my complete permission.Varenucha (talk) 21:03, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
