Hello! Thank you for supplying the requested information at Talk:Michael A. Santoro. Unfortunately however, I have reverted the changes made because they weren't inline with the guidelines for altering previous talk page posts shown at WP:REDACTED.

Those guidelines state that when an editor posts after you, any changes you make to your previous posts need to show inserted text using underlined font and removed text using strikeout font. The changes you made to the page are still stored in the page history. Please make sure that any changes made to talk pages to supply needed information make use of those guidelines.

If you have any questions about this please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Thank you! Regards,  Spintendo  08:14, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @GSS: - I had indeed referred to the WP:PAID section on links when setting my profile up, which states, "Paid editors must also provide links on their Wikipedia user page to all active accounts at websites where they advertise paid Wikipedia-editing services. If an advertisement is removed, any corresponding links on the Wikipedia user page must remain visible for at least one week." Here's my issue: I do not advertise, offer or perform paid Wikipedia editing, through Upwork or any other platform & never have. This one client usually contracts my work in a totally different area. My portfolio site as well as Upwork only advertises my regular marketing services. In other words, I'm doing my best to be compliant with Wikipedia policy and request edits in the correct way - but I just don't have a web page anywhere advertising paid Wikipedia-editing. What do you suggest I do? I could add the link to my Upwork profile, but it has nothing to do with Wikipedia. Because of that, I was worried that it might appear self-promotional, like I am trying to solicit new business through my user page. VAU2020 (talk) 00:05, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for replying. You still need to link your Upwork account where you were hired to edit Michael A. Santoro. GSS💬 02:30, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
