Welcome!

Hello, Uruguayo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  -- Mxcatania 12:53, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because Wikipedia is first and foremost a research tool, everything on Wikipedia must be verified by reputable sources. Please do not make controversial changes unless you are prepared to back them up with such sources. --M@rēino 14:29, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • You have continued to assert your views, despite either not citing to sources or citing to sources that claim the opposite of what you are posting. This intentional insertion of falsehoods into articles is vandalism. Please stop it.--M@rēino 22:12, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Seriously. You are the most obstinate, least cooperative editor that I have ever dealt with on Wikipedia. Please follow the rules and stop forcing me to revert your work!--M@rēino 23:09, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. --M@rēino 04:21, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with the page United States on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. SkerHawx 00:00, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
