- One is inserted once and does not affect the text of the article in any way, but highlights a problem and suggests that users go to talk to discuss it, your one gets shoved in where ever a user decides the articles language is using Weasel words, and so is inherently disruptive to the text. --Irishpunktom\talk 14:30, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- The Citation [citation needed] relates to a specific statement in the body of a text which my not be factual, as there is no citation to support the claim. It is put up with a view to removing the text if no Citation is presented within a given time. It is part of the process of verifying the contents of Wikipedia. - If you believe that there are weasel words being used, you can out the {{weasel}} tag up, and discuss your reasons for this on the talk page, and change the words used if needed. This will not disrupt the body of the text at all. --Irishpunktom\talk 14:50, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
