Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Tecosim. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Problems with upload of File:World Environment Day 2012 LOGO.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:World Environment Day 2012 LOGO.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Have you read the warnings above and clicked on the links in them to read what they say? I mean your asking why they were deleted when these notices are exactly an explanation of why they were deleted and the basis of that deletion. If you read the warning right above this, and click on the links, you'll see that it refers to a basis for deleting images quickly where another copy of the image already exists on Wikipedia in the same or a lower quality version. You can see the reason for this. Why should we have two of the same images, especially where the new one is not an improvement on the old one?--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:33, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
