Sandbox draft for Daniela Kroslak

Dear Uhai,

I was working on creating a new page to add a public officeholder, but there seems to have been issues with the page, which I do not understand. Grateful for your advice and if the draft sandbox could be restored.

It would be an important addition to Wikipedia.

@Daniela Kroslak: Per WP:AUTO, autobiographies are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia and may be deleted. See also the conflict of interest notice left on your talk page. The page was deleted by Fastily (talk · contribs)—I only tagged it. I am not an administrator and am unable to restore the deleted content myself.

Are you Daniela Kroslak herself or are you working on her behalf? What is your relation to her? Uhai (talk) 21:07, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

@Daniela Kroslak: Nice to meet you as well. I still recommend you read WP:COI as it applies to this situation. "Colleague" is quite vague so I'm hoping you can clarify your relation to her. Note that if you are trying to create this article as part of your job duties for a paid position, whether you have been explicitly asked to do so or not, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use to disclose this; see WP:PAID for more information. I will also post another message to your talk page regarding this.

Because of your conflict of interest, I recommend you utilize Wikipedia:Requested articles to request the addition of this article. I strongly recommend that you do not try to create this article yourself. Your language and use of the word "important" is concerning and I must emphasize that Wikipedia is not for promotion; it's an encyclopedia. Article subjects must meet notability requirements, and anyone that does will have an article created about them eventually by an unpaid volunteer with no conflict of interest.

Please do not blank pages created by other editors unless there is unacceptable content like copyright violations or BLP-violating content. If you think that the conent merits deletion, then tag the page for one of our forms of deletion, like CSD, PROD or MFD/AFD/RFD/etc. with an appropriate reason. That's from a while ago... and it's a form of soft deletion, any editor is welcome to revert me (including the draft creator) and I will take no further action. Unfortunately, until there's an equivalent of CSD U5 for WP:SNOW/self-promo vanity drafts, this is a way to deny these users what they are looking for, as plenty are happy with their autobiographies living in draft space where they will edit them once every six months to keep them alive or re-create them after they get G13'd. These drafts waste of the time of AfC reviewers who could otherwise be reviewing drafts that deserve to be in the main space. Uhai (talk) 03:40, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
