why was this page deleted? And the talk page?! --Revolución hablar ver 22:04, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this page still here? Mostlyharmless 21:41, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering what happened to this page too... for some reason Sinn Fein is missing, along with the Chinese Parties boxes, Scottish parties, and some others...--YGagarin 01:07, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

After a little investigation, it seems that an admin, Doc_glasgow, simply decided he didn't like them and deleted them all. What a blatant abuse of power.--YGagarin 15:18, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He left Wikipedia too. Another deletionist bites the dust. I'm wondering if those deleted userboxes will ever be restored. Probably not. — Nathan (talk) 12:44, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
To avoid having this happen again in the future there is an effort starting up to move religion, politics, and most other userboxes over to user space. You can read about it at Wikipedia:The German solution. Several archives have already been started up to replace the deleted content including my own. --StuffOfInterest 13:56, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why was LIKID userbox deleted?

Why was LIKUD userbox deleted, while the weed-smoking and communist parties is still up there? Which crazy lefty is designing these userboxes? Where is the Mafdal? Or National Union? Only left and extreme left parties are represented. Eliyyahu 14:18, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why are all the US parties only left to far-left? Is Wikipedia turning into Google?
MSTCrow 00:55, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

where all the right-wing parties?

it appears only left and far-left parties are shown

what happen to Canadian parties? Sic one 22:03, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made UBX's for CPC, LIB, and NDP. At the top :) Cavenba 01:57, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, for Israel, I'm a supporter of UTJ. Noticed there's no Userbox for that. --Yodamace1 11:02, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I could make it but I don't know what "UTJ" is. Also only the CPC in Canada is right-wing. Cavenba 04:37, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uk

where in the hell has the uk boxes gone, now this is unfair you have all the other big counmtries yet ours get deleted why? Lil crazy thing 21:11, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tried adding UK back in but it got deleted. Yet somebody else added in China and it didn't get deleted. Something is very unfair and needs sorting Matthewfelgate 00:50, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Try recreating the boxes as a sub page to your user page and then listing them on the Political Parties page. That should stick. And please do go and blank the entire page again. That is vandalism. --StuffOfInterest 14:34, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
yeah it is very unfair, doesnt our countries political parties matter Lil crazy thing 12:25, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What, that is so unfair. We must be too good for the list! Ben 12:34, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Try here for some simple UK party userboxes. Only the big three parties but it's something. Ben 14:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

right wing parties

I agree that there should be right wing parties - I personally want to use one for the FN - "Front National" in France. If someone makes this or could tell me how to make one using html, please either let me know or if you're ambitious, put it on my user page yourself (but please don't vandalize while there). JW 03:46, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made one for FN.--Regicollis 13:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Missing countries, baninated parties

What gives with large countries not have sections for political parties? As an example, the United States of America. At first, I tried editing the main page and adding it in. Well, it didn't work, because the democrat, green, and Republican user templates have been PERMANENTLY deleted. Why? Is there a compelling reason? Where's the controversy? We allow things in the userspace like "User is interested in Atheism", or "User is a Catholic", why not interest in political affiliations? Is it a question of using the donkey or elephant symbol? Okay, why not just drop the symbols and just use solid blue or red as placeholders in the meantime? As an aside, Libertarian seems to be a valid party choice (as well as belief system), with the script "This user believes in the principles of Libertarianism". I'm totally confused here, and really think we should open this section up some more. We're adults, we can handle this!--Cnadolski 06:21, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Templatespace is not userspace, and this page is projectspace (because it begins with Wikipedia:). You may want to read up on Help:Namespace. --Cyde↔Weys 13:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cnadolski, please take a look at WP:GUS. Both the Democrat and Republican templates have been migrated over to user space and can be referenced from there. --StuffOfInterest 14:31, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's so confusing to find information here for a noob

OK, simple question. Where's the US stuff? - AbstractClass 00:11, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why you asked when the answer is listed in the previous question. Please look there. — Nathan (talk) / 02:23, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is really confusing for a noob, like I said. No need to be snitty about it. Thanks though, I found it. - AbstractClass 13:18, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I remind you that there are no personal attacks allowed on Wikipedia. It is a blockable offense. I was blunt and to the point. I reiterate: The information you were after was found in the preceding section. In case you require a neon sign: There is a userbox directory in WP:GUS that lists userboxes according to category. You're welcome for the assistance, now kindly refrain from attacking others in future. Thank you. — Nathan (talk) / 05:51, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it OK to add these?

Is it OK for me to add these userboxes I've created about Belgian political parties to this directory? There are a lot of them and they're about a small country...--Ganchelkas 10:38, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Swdish Pirate Party

Seriously, where is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kerdek (talkcontribs) 00:58, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
