Ukrainian bio categories
Hi Ty3uk! I don't understand your removal of Ukrainian categories from bio articles on cosmonauts/pilots.. If a person is of Ukrainian descent or has Ukrainian ethnicity, then that surely warrants his/her inclusion in a category. Just because that nation did not exist at the time does not mean that they were never Ukrainian to begin with. Soviet is a nationality and not an ethnicity, even though they were not Ukrainian nationals, they were still Ukrainian ethnically speaking.. You may be confusing the categories to include only those that were Soviet nationals only, which they were since Ukraine did not exist, but they are still Ukrainian ethnically speaking. Please discuss before making large scale changes, this actually would be a much larger scale of category removal based on what one user may define a biographical article whether or not one is Ukrainian purely because of their ethnicity or due to their nationality. --dsergienko (talk) 17:06, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

- There is no Ukrainophobia in my revisions. I'm just very surprised to see dozens of Ukrainian cosmonauts in Wikipedia, when in fact only one.
