Evaluating Articles and Sources

I reviewed the Hildegard of Bingen page on Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hildegard_of_Bingen Everything in the article seems relevant to me, and the information provided seems neutral. On the other hand, I believe that the Modern Interest section needs more elaboration. I do not think that it is enough to say that Hildegard is of feminist interest because she referenced herself as a member of the “weaker sex.” All of the citations appear to be correct, and the links directed me to the right pages. The sources are neutral, including many primary sources. None of the information appears to be out of date. The page is a part of quite a few projects. The page hits on Hildegard’s monastic life and works very similarly to what was discussed in class, but it also provided information that was not presented in class. These topics include specifics on her involvement in music.

Wikipedia Article- Emily Bacon

Below are some of the sources I have found for my Emily Bacon article that I will be working on. I really want to expand off of her early life and elaborate more on the work that she did in her life, especially her research since that’s what I have most of my citations for.
