Re. Death of Carl Yankowski

Hello, Do you have a source for this death that you added? -ASHEIOU (THEY/THEM • TALK) 20:32, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I do. We were classmates in high school together and it was through our high school newsletter that I received word. I thought he would want people to know. 2601:283:4100:1270:34A0:88A1:62FC:18F5 (talk) 21:25, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@2601:283:4100:1270:34A0:88A1:62FC:18F5 Hiya,
unfortunately a highschool newsletter isn't a WP:RS. My apologies, but until we can get word from an accredited news organisation, it would not be possible for us to update this page. -ASHEIOU (THEY/THEM • TALK) 02:59, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that is too bad that a friend’s word is no good as well as our very accurate website. So once there is a printed obituary, will that do? Treehouse Girl (talk) 05:32, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I updated his article based on two sources I could find. Merko (talk) 17:03, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, thank you. At least I was able to help get it updated for him. He was an extraordinary man and in the latter years had a difficult life. Thanks again. Treehouse Girl (talk) 17:48, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Carl Yankowski, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Hadal (talk) 20:34, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the correct info again. I put my source. I am a high school classmate of his. If I have done it wrong, I apologize, but it is correct. If you can please help me correct it, I would appreciate that. I think Carl would want people to know. Thank you. Please do not remove it. Treehouse Girl (talk) 21:46, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
