Red Sonja

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Red Sonja, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, for the following reasons:

  • You removed content from the article, without providing a rationale in your edit summary. This included the refimprove notice at the top of the article, a passage on the character's creation in the Red Sonja vs. Red Sonya section, a large number of comics listed in the Comics bibliography section. Please do not remove content from Wikipedia articles unless you can cite a valid rationale in your edit summary.
  • You added unsourced material to the article, in particular speculative material on other works that may be parodies of the character. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. With regard to material about the content of fiction that is evaluative, analytical or interpretive, the source must be a secondary source. Relying instead on personal observation or interpretation is original research, which is not permitted on Wikipedia.
  • You added a personal note in the Red Sonja vs. Red Sonya section regarding your viewpoint on the manner in which rape plays a part in the character's origin. This is not permitted. Wikipedia is not a forum for editor's personal views. Wikipedia articles must be written in a dispassionate, neutral, formal tone, and in the third person, without personal pleas to the reader, and without expressing editor's viewpoints. If you feel that an article contains inaccuracies, then improve the article's writing, and if you want to bring matters to the attention of other editors, the proper place to do so is on the article's talk page.

If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 08:33, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not attack other editors or vandalize their talk pages, as you did with this edit. Attacking other editors is a violation of Wikipedia's policies on Civility, in particular No Personal Attacks. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's policies, you risk being blocked from editing. Please do not make that necessary. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 15:10, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

September 2013

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Casca (series) may have broken the syntax by modifying 3 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • and #33 "Casca: the Outlaw" have both been proven to be plagiarized from other books and are A)no longer considered "cannon" B)These books have been pulled out of the order and will no longer be published C)These book numbers will not be re-issued, they will simply be skipped over and ignored.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 21:38, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

Please don't add ruminations, reminiscences, or other first-person content to articles. It's really, really not appropriate, and the only source is "Trailltrader's brain".

Thanks for understanding. DS (talk) 23:10, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
